The Adventure Group are inspired by the men of Z Special Unit who risked their lives to conduct a top secret mission deep inside Japanese held territory to sink enemy shipping in Singapore Harbour in 1943. In honour of them we are re-enacting the canoe phase of their epic mission on what will be the 75th anniversary of their audacious and successful raid from 20 - 25 September 2018.
We are taking a team of 10 paddlers, to include Australian Defence Veterans, and daring civilians in two person kayaks to paddle from Panjang Island (Indonesia) to Singapore Harbour, following the route of the original raid members. This journey will take 5 days and is unsupported. The guys will take everything they need in their kayaks and will rest at night in the same locations as the original raid members. Thankfully, this time, they don't have to disassemble and bury their boats every single day!

Whilst the original mission was successful and everyone survived, we know that those who serve their country in times of war and operational service pay a price that lasts beyond the end of the conflict and their service. With this in mind we aim to raise funds for the following Veteran related charities White Cloud Foundation, SAS Resources Fund and Commando Welfare Trust. Please help us to help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about the wonderful work of the charities, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing our page with your friends, family and colleagues. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
